You could have put a patch on your CFW PS3, back up the ps3, then repeat for all the patches you want - then update your PS3. But, now you're too late. Only way now is to find another PS3 on 3.55 firmware.

I have a 3.55 CFW Ps3. I just want to put more patches on my updated Ps3 so i don't have to data transfer all the time.

Put the patch on your 3.55 PS3. Data transfer it to your Updated PS3. Back up your Updated PS3. Whenever you want that patch, just go to Restore Backup to that back-up you just backed up. It's alot easier than data transferring every time.

Just do what I said and you'll be fine. On your USB, the back ups will be a weird file name like 00239232. Just plug your USB into your computer and change the numbers to whatever you want to make it easier to distinguish between patches.
