Once upon a time...

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I currently have 3.72 firmware installed on my ps3. Is there anyway I can jalbreak it as of now? Can I downgrade it, then jailbreak? Yeah I know its kind of a noob question but I'd really rather not brick my ps3.

You can't jailbreak any ps3 over 3.55 firmware... You can downgrade your 3.72 FW ps3 to 3.55 using an E3 Flasher.. Look those up.

No it is not, sorry. You could do a data transfer to get a MW2 patch by getting a 3.55 PS3 from a friend or something with CFW and FTP and transferring their patch to your PS3.
