Post: Can I NOT Transfer BACK UP Games?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey NUG, i am always leaving games at my moms house like deadisland and gta 4 and i would like to back them up but when i do that and want to transfer something to my 3.72 ps3, the huge games go with it!!!!

so i was wondering if there was a way i could back up games and DATA TRANSFER without transfering the games? if anyone could help me, that would be great and i would gives yous da REP!!! any help would be awsome =D

Do you have 2 PS3s? If so, you need one on firmware 3.55 and below, and you'll have to have a FTP software and a CFW on it. Then you will be able to back up your games to your 3.55, but I don't think you will be able to transfer it to your 3.72 PS3 via data transfer.

lol, i have to ps3's and if i back up games on the 3.55 one and do a data transfer it will transfer the games over to my 3.72 ps3 and i was wondering if there was a way i could do a data transfer from my 3.55 ps3 to the 3.72 ps3 WITHOUT transfering the games on the hdd. do you kinda understand?

Nope, sorry. Unless you play with your backups externally (that sounds so oddly wrong to me atm :p) you'll always be plagued by this problem Smile
