Im fixing it myself and its almost done, If it were to work would I be able to Put 3.55 OFW, and then 3.55 CFW on it? because last time my PS3 broke, it said "Insert USB Storage Device with Update 3.56 or higher" this was like 4 months ago but you get my point. Will it say that? or just update to 3.73?

Yes, this is possible. Update to 3.55 OFW and then to 3.55 CFW.
