the way i understand it right after the downgrade its ready all you do is install a manager to play games from hdd heres the quote.



And also please note : after downgrade to 3.55, don’t install any other 3.55CFW or 3.55OFW, otherwise PS3 will get brick just install manager to play HDD game.

if you want play PSN, just upgrade to 3.73 with normal upgrade way (network or USB device).

Yes you can downgrade to 3.55, just do not try to install any other firmware.
