You can't get online with CFW to begin with. You can only get CFW with a ps3 that's on a firmware 3.55 or below. Anything after that you will need downgrade devices that solder onto your PS3.

As diji said, you cant go online with CFW, you can buy a E3 flasher to downgrade if you dont have a 3.55.
