What are you trying to bypass, you dont have a cfw on a 3.56 fw, therefore your only option is to 1. Downgrade using e3flasher/ ProgSkeet if you want cfw, 2, repair the blu ray drive with new deck and lens at a cost of around £30 (just do an eBay search for ps3 blu ray lens) or 3, buy a new playatation

Your playstation isn't stuck in recovery mode due to a broken blu ray, this will be down to having a corrupted firmware which has probably corrupted your NAND/NOR when you have tried to install 3.73/4.00 firmware.

You can try and reinstall the firmware and see if this works from a USB alternatively try and downgrade using E3Flasher/Progskeet which will take you to 3.55 providing your PS3 had 3.55 on it at some point in the past and then you can manually update to 4.00 etc again.

Hope this helps
