(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So today i decided to buy PS3 (i own a wii and gaming pc) because my friends were going all crazy about battlefield 3 and so i made up my mind to buy PS3 but since i also hacked my wii and played games by running backups, i also thought that i could do the same with PS3 but sadly the PSN won't allow me to play games online with older version.

My question is:

1. Is there a way to mod the pS3, run backups from internal hard disk and then play it online? i mean a downloaded copy?
2. By connecting to PSN, what are the chances of being caught if 1st option is possible.
3. Is it possible to either run games off internal or external memory.

Any other tip which i should keep in mind before buying a PS3?

Thanks a lot in advance

1) No. You can run cracked backups on 3.41/3.55 custom firmware(CFW), however there's currently no way online using that.
2) n/a
3) If you're on CFW, both. If not, neither.
