spend almost $100 on a e3 flasher, look up tutorial, you got a ps3 that switches between firmware .55 - 4.00

Is the e3 Flasher worth it ? And would 2 PS3's be needed?

Nope you would just need one ps3, and some skills, which i believe we all have!

e3 flasher downgrades any ps3 to 3.55, also need is a dongle, like the e3 card reader dongle, or like cobra dongle. e3 will downgrade it and also have dual boot to it so you could just flip a switch and have both 3.55 n up to date firmware. no need for a 2nd ps3, unless you some how mess up and crash things. but easiest to use on nor flashed ps3s, cechh01- to slims.
