Any ideas on what i should do. Im right now downloading 3.55 ofw to try and install that to get it to work :jim:

You can´t do that, Install 3.55 Original Firmware and then the Custom Firmware

I have tried that it says no applicable data found like it wont find my firmware on my usb? I wonder if its because theres no blu-ray drive in there?

Try via recovery menu but Im afraid it´s cuz there isn´t a blu-ray drive

try a different jb like kakaroto or kmeav(recomended)

You're probably doing it wrong then.

Make sure the folder structure on the USB you're using is like this: (Drive letter):/PS3/UPDATE and inside the UPDATE folder put the PS3UPDAT.PUP file.

Also make sure the folders and file names are in all caps or it won't work.

Alright so I got my blu-ray drive to spin the disk wont show up on xmb but I have tried everything you guys said above even downloaded ofw 2.21 and wont even recognize that

Okay wait It recognizes 3.21 so I guess i will just work my way up to 3.55 kmeaw or something thanks everyone for the help much appreciated!!:bro:

Actually I have one more question! So i managed to upgrade from 3.15 to 3.55 ofw. Now it wont let install 3.55 cfw it says no applicable data was found ?
