You can't. Theres no jailbreak for 3.73 nor for 4.00. All the once on YouTube are fake. They tend to place a survey on a random file, because they earn money off it.
You can still downgrade though, which you have to buy a downgrade chip for. You must login or register to view this content.

There isn't a jailbreak/cfw for 3.73. The furthest KaKaRoTo went was to confirmed the 4.00 cfw, but hasn't released it. The confirmation of 4.00cfw but isn't released: You must login or register to view this content.

Instead of teling him you can downgrade maybe tell him how to do it lol...
@OP, You need progskeet or the e3 flasher to downgrade from firmware 3.7x but it involves opening your console and stripping it down to the motherboard

I don't now exactly how the downgrading is done, as ive not looked into it. Your right I should have told him how to do it, but since I don't know it all 100% I
'll suggest him to user the search function here in the forums or display him a thread.
