Why don't you just use your own PARAM.SFO by making a new save?

Why don't you just use your own PARAM.SFO by making a new save?
It's my backup of Battlefield 2 not the savegame. I accidentally switched the PARAM.sfo for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 2 up in my "GAMES" folder. All I need is for someone, who already has a backup of the game to just send me the PARAM.sfo.
