Post: Soldering Substitue?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey i have a Progskeet v 1.1 and i need to solder two little thing together and i dont have a soldering gun and im not getting one. So if there is any substitute that will work 100%, please tell.

This may sound ridiculous, but if you twist the wires together I think hot glue will hold it together. It sounds crazy but you should look it up I think It works

Sure it would work, it's the same principle; you have a hot needle that melts that stuff together; and that for 10 bucks would work too. Then you just don't have to heat it up again and again, as you just plug it into a socket.

so i would just put the screwdriver over the object and then heat it up with the lighter and let one drop solder it.

Yes, that's what I meant :y:
Well just push the heated screwdriver to that point where you want to solder, so that it can melt, and connect with it. But it if you're not sure, just buy that thing at walmart.

save yourself all the trouble your going to find yourself in if you use a screwdriver. just get a soldering iron. why anyone would use a screwdriver to solder is beyond me, do you want to wreck your ps3 board? one screw up and you can toss your ps3 out he window.
