Yo your saying its already jailbroken right? If not well first of all get yourself a USB STICK and then download a custom firmware e.g. Kmeaw custom 3.55 and check a guide on how to put it on your usb and update using recovery menu or the XMB on ps3

once your PS3 is jailbroken (you can do this by listening to the posts from other members above), you will need various programs on your PS3 such as backup managers and file transfer, the best ftp file transfer program is black box in my opinion, here is a video on how to use it and install it:
