(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Now I know that this thread may not be on the exact forum but I have a serious question about custom patches for CoD.
Can you put a patch on a CoD game that has never been played on the 3.55 CFW ps3 meaning that it has no latest updates on its online multiplayer features?
So while using multimaan/comgenie is there a way to still put the custom challenge lobby patch on the game whist using multiman/comgenie?
Or is it possible to do a data transfer from the OFW ps3 with everything online legal without it overriding the CFW ps3's data or corrupting the HDD?

well throught your really confusing thread, which made hardly any sense, it seems that his answer is right, if you data transfer it doesnt affect firmware.

Okay so from what I understand that hardly nothing will be affected but the already existing game patches.
And I am on a 4.00 ofw on my main PS3 and i was also wondering if that would affect me to do a data transfer with the 3.55 CFW PS3 reading that both PS3 consoles HAVE to be on the latest OFW to do so. Any thoughts on that or will it work like the earlier OFW's (allowing you to do the data transfer any ways without both OS3 consoles having to be on the latest OFW)
I was trying to be 20000808% sure before rushing into something and not having a Jailbroken PS3 anymore. lol Smile

you can data transfer from 3.55 to 4.00 no problem
but if you wanna transfer from 4.00 to 3.55 you need a spoofer on your 3.55
