i need a full tutorial on downgrading with E3 Flasher 4.00 - 3.55
is there any way to change the CFW after the jailbreak e.g change the rogero to Kakaroto or Kmeaw
can u put a patch on the ps3 then update to 4.00
can u downgrade back to 3.55 after updating

And no you can not change the cfw after installing Rogero from E3 flasher otherwise it will brick your console.
Yes you can update back to 4.0 after downgrade.

Umm idk yet if you can use a different dongle other than the PS Jailbreak, but you shouldn't just use a flashdrive. Buy the PS Jailbreak (^link above, my previous reply)
And yes you can take off the E3 Flasher after downgrading. Just don't install any other 3.55 cfw (other than the Rogero 3.55 cfw provided by E3) OR IT WILL BRICK YOUR CONSOLE!

My PS3 is 4.00 OFW, but my lowest firmware possible is 3.40, in the website you gave (and thanks for that) it says "This product is only suitable for PS3 consoles which are lower than version 3.55" this means console factory firmware (3.40) or the one I have now (4.00)?

Yes, i know it is suitable for ps3s under 3.55 but you need that dongle for the downgrade process with the E3 flasher, and yes it is already prepared.
