the question is what cfw do you recommend? and can i use 4.00 spoofer to data transfer stuff over as i said i have used cfw since 3.55 so its all changed now.

Kmeaw CFW, and the spoofer isnt necessary to transfer patches from 3.55 to 4.00, but it is necessary from 4.00 to 3.55

Agreed with Smxsh, you're able to install PKG's that aren't signed for GeoHot's jailbreak. So all that homebrew for 3.41 can now be installed on kmeaw's 3.55; signed and unsigned pkgs are compatible.
