Mw2 patch is 1.13 and your modded patch is 1.13 so you don't have to bypass. Just put your modded patch on and data transfer. Your friends will still be able to join. If you are trying to use a 1.11 or 1.12 patch the your friend will have to bypass

you can use 1.12 on 1.13 without bypassing just update mw2 on the jailbroke ps3 to 1.13 then put the 1.12 patch on then transfer you are still on 1.12 but on 1.13 severs!

you just cant use 1.11 on any servers higher than 1.11 because it runs the game in a different way!
1.13 wasn't a security update it had nothing to do with hacking it runs 1.12 patches!

if you or a friend has a jailbroken ps3 its easy! >data transfer there's loads of patches u can use on 1.13!

so heres what i did: my jailbroken ps3 has a broken blu ray so i downloaded blus 3077 as a pkg file and then i went to black box and took a 1.12 patch and replaced the patch with it. then aftyer the data transfer was finished i went to go host and nothing showed up. so i looked it up and it said delete the default_mp.self file and i did. i data transfered and then the challenge lobby showed but now i cant play with friends and theyre arent many people on it cuz i cant even join search and destroy.... HELP!

yes of course man mods are not like 1.11 the codes got changed but tbf its still good but u need 2 ps3s 1 on 3.55 and 1 on 4.00ofw and then u need to change the 1.13 patch on ur 4.55 and replace it with a working 1.13 modded patch and make sure its the same as ur bles on what ur mw2 blues is eg bles00836 and then just data transfer and start on mw2 and u can host and ur friends can join 2
