Ok I will downgrade the software of the ps3 to 3.41 or 3.55 didn't figure that out. But the main question I have is once I downgrade it and jb it. Can I still play games online using the e3 Flasher. Cause I have seen some one say that u need 2 ps3 hard drives. One with 4.00 and the 3.55. Is that true. Or can some one point me in the right direction please...

i highly recommend not buying it but if you do and somehow succeed you with be able to "jailbreak" on 4.00fw

You are going to need two hard drives for the fast dual boot. You are going to want to back up your data that is already on the hard drive you have because downgrading with E3 Flasher formats it.

In order to play online you need to switch from the 3.55CFW HDD to the 4.00 OFW HDD.

now another question i have is if i want to add patches to MW2 and play online how do i do that.

The only thing i can think of is to backup your HDDto an external flash drive/hard drive, downgrade, restore data to ps3, install patches, back up the data with patches, go back to 4.00 and restore the data to your ps3 and youll have the patches on your ps3.

ye thats what i got so far from doing reaserch.. then what is the point of dual boot thing... and the two hard drives...
is it possible for example take the 3.55 hardrive throw the patch in there back it up.. then throw in a 3.70 and restore to it with a patch in there? instead of downgrading and upgrading all the time.

and another question i have as well if i buy a clean hardrive for ps3 once i put it in ps3 it will load the hardware in the hardrive of 3.70 so this way i can downgrade one of them and keep the other on a 3.55 all the time.

sorry about so many questions havent messed with my ps3 since 3.55 and havent looket in to things for a while.
