erm data transfer your 4.00 to 3.55 then do what it show on this video
and data transfer again from 3.55 to 4.00

It only worked with cfw if you do it on 3.55 spoof and bring it over signing in will download your real avatar again and lose the custom one but when cfw was out you did not need to sign out therefore you avatar stayed custom...
