the problem is that when i backup my games onto the internal hdd (PS3 one) and when i run the games i get a 'BLACK SCREEN' this is also the same if i try to play the game through the disc icon... it just gives me a 'BLACK SCREEN' ???

Im using multiman latest version to backup the games, the game gets backed up successfully but the games won't run just a BLACK SCREEN i can still use the PS button to bring up the XMB so i can exit the game... all my other PKGS. run and install fine so i don't think it is the blu ray drive.

Also when i used Backup manager 2.0 it says cannot find EBOOT this maybe the problem... i need a original EBOOT i think...
And lastly my games won't eject from the blu ray drive... if i press the button manually it just beeps a 2-3 times and if i try to eject it through the XMB it doesn't work either the drive just stops responding, also when i try and insert a game into the bluray drive the drive doesn't recognise the disc and it just doesn't want to take the disc in i have to manually push it in...

it might be your bluray thats causing it you say it bleeps 2-3 times when trying to eject (bluray thinks there is no disk in)

try re-aligning your bluray so that it ejects the disk when its supposed to

although u say u can backup games from disk and that the disk icon shows in xmb

have u not tried a different cfw (kmeaw rebug)

You need to run You must login or register to view this content. before multiman, use the v9 version as the other ones are just there for archival purposes. If the BD drive was the problem you wouldn't be able to start multiman itself.

The LV2 patcher didn't work... i think its the bluray drive because when i try to insert a disc it won't recognise it ?? and now it isn't even showing in XMB but the pkgs still work i think the bluray has a faulty laser
