I'm wondering if it is true that everyone who downloaded 4.00 has some sort of different key, or if this guy just has no idea what he is talking about?

As far as i know there is no 4.00 jailbreak. if there was it would all over the web..
Unless someone has developed it and has kept it very secretive

I appreciate the reply, but that honestly has nothing to do with what I was asking. There is no public jailbreak since 3.55, I know that. I have one console jaikbroken on 3.55 and one updated to 4.00.

My question:
Is this following quote true, or is it just a load of ****?

The ps3 has a two sets of private keys in a signature that is an unbelievably long advanced mathematical equation only comprehensible by computers(easily at least) and for them to make a different key for everyone would have wasted a lot of time. And I mean ALOT of time.
This would also mean every package aKa dlc or ps store downloads would have to make a different version of the game for everyone's ps3.. And clearly that is a pointless waste of time.

like the man said it is total BS.. if they would have done that then they would charge WAY more for EVERYTHING lol since they'd have to have a MILLION employee's working around the clock to create all the stuff for just 25 of the 50 states ps3 users
