First, I'm going to assume you data transferred onto 4.0....right? lol

Anyways, I had the same exact problem with COD4. I'd put the disc in and it would freeze my system. NO scratches, nothing. Turns out, the disc was old and just went bad. Got a new disc, and it works fine.

See if a friend will let you use his MW2 disc and see if that helps.

Also, make sure your running the latest 4.00 spoofer on ur 3.55. That will mess things up as well.
