No, sony cant change the hardware of the ps3s that are already out there xD
Some of the older slims and the new 3k series cannot be downgraded with hardware flasher but there are tons of models out there that are hackable ;p

ohh yh one more thing do i need to have 2 HDD to downgrade and reupdate from 3.55CFW to 4.10 OFW

and will my ps3 work with e3 flasher my model is CECHL03

CECHL is NOR so yes E3 can be used with it and yes the 4.00 firmware will need to be replaced with 4.10, but i wouldnt do so yet untill its been confirmed safe to do it on the same 4.0 hdd.
Should be safe on a brand new hdd though, im more of a progskeet guy so e3 installation isn't my thing and i hate solderless xD

so i will have to buy 2 HDD and use one for 3.55CFW and the other with 4.10OFW

hmmm , so if i want to upgrade to the new firmware i have to go back and do all the proccess i've been through before ?? like upgrading , downgrading reformating and installing all the hombrews again ,,, :FU:
