Anyway, what exactly are the patch_mp.ff files and where would I go about putting them into my USB to add a mod menu or something as such for COD4, MW2 or MW3 on my PS3?

Nope. I can't seem to find any sort of jailbreaking method for 4.10 or 4.11. Yes, I know I'm a noob or whatever else these forums seem to think of people who are a newfag at these things. I was never really into PS3 until I bought one just recently.

there is you will need a e3 flasher i dont have any links for it so you will need to search it
