I've got two kids sending me their consoles tomorrow, or now...since some gay shit's happening, maybe later. Anyways, here's my problem...


I have two PS3's. One is jailbroken, and runs Elite's CFW. Never had a problem before. I have MW2, and MW1. (MW is what I'll call MW1).

Well, I can play MW3. I can go online, play their shit shits, but when I put in the disc MW2, or MW, it just...doens't load the disc. MW2 comes up to the screen with the IW shit, then once I hit x, or try to let it go through, it kicks me back out to the main screen. When I put in MW, it loads all the way up, and once I click on the Multiplayer shit, it kicks me back to the main screen. (Main screen meaning the Playstation 3 XMB.)

I actually just now did a quick format on the 3.55 system, and reinstalled the CFW to see if that was the problem. But no. Same shit.

I've had this CFW on my system for a LONG time. I just keep running into the same problem now. It actually happened one day way after I had did the data transfer. Wtf is wrong with the system? I was able to do my shit with the modifying, and now I'm not. In case you're wondering, I put these patches on the system a while ago. I was able to access them fine. Until one day, I decided to play MW instead of MW3, so I put that disc in, and found out it was unable to load Multiplayer. Any suggestions? Wtf is going on here? I've got to get this shit fixed.

Both discs are fine. No smudges, or no cracks. MW3 loads and plays without a problem. So I know it's not the blu ray drive inside my legit system. I've tried redoing the data transfer, but nothing. Even the format. Any one else had this specific problem, and can offer me insight?

i had that issue. you need to go into safe mode. I forget the specific name of the process. But its the one where it takes like 9 hours. look for the process that does this. sorry, but you will lose everything except jailbreak.

I had this same issue but on 4.11 FW.
I called sony and they sayed that i need to restore my ps3 so i did it first made a backup and now it's okay.

Yeah thanks guys. I did a full system restore last night. I can play MW2, and MW now. I haven't tried to play the modified versions, but I assume it'll work since I can play it legit. Thanks for the help. Both +rep.
