(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok if got a 60 gig ps3 which i hacked and was on firmware 3.55 so all the hacks every thing on there but the ps3 broke could i stilll use the harddrive on another ps3 ??????

It depends on what's broken. If the HDD is corrupt, then no you can't use the hard drive. If it is just a simple hardware failure, then yes.
The HDD is separate from the console and your data should be retained.

the ps3 was a 60 gig and got the yellow light of death so i don't no if anything is wrong with the hard drive but the question is even if nothing is wrong with the hard drive can i still use it in another fat ps3 any gig ?

Yes, if nothing is wrong with the hard drive you can put it in another ps3 but you will have to format it to be able to use it, so nothing from the broken console will be on it

format the hdd will that affect what firmware its on cause it on 3.55 atm btw i wanted to know can u transfer data from 3.55 2 4.11 ?

Yes i think you can transfer to 4.11 and your HDD isn't on 3.55 your ps3 is, if you put your HDD from your 3.55 ps3 into another it will not carry the firmware over and formatting a HDD doesn't affect firmware

so even if i put in the hdd into ma ova ps3 wil the firm ware change ? or will it still stay on 4.11

if you take the HDD from your 3.55 and put it in your 4.11, the 4.11 ps3 will still be on 4.11, swapping HDD's won't change the firmware

arrr so no point doing that then lol so wer on the ps3 is the firmware on mother bored case i can take that out 2 lol
