I'm aware you can't jailbreak above 3.55 so, is the only way to get said firmware to buy a new ps3?
Does it have to be a fat ps3?
How do you "trick" your ps3 into not updating? Bypass somehow?
How do you play online with outdated firmware?

If you can answer any of these questions it would be appreciated!

It doesn't have to be a fat PS3. My Slim was Jailbroken on 3.55 before I updated, and as of right now I don't believe
there is any way to bypass. And you can't play online with outdated firmware. Its just not possible.

So right now, the only legit way to get a Jailbroken PS3 is to buy one. :y:
