No it doesn't matter but i recommend downgrading the fat one and using the slim for online as the slim lasts longer (supposily)

It doesn't matter which one you downgrade :y:
I do suggest as malanof said, to downgrade the fat one, so in case something goes wrong
you'll have the slim to stick with. They're built better and more efficiently so they do last longer.

i would jb the fat ps3 and play online with the slim thats how i do it its works great that way
