(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i got a 250gb 4.11 and a 160 gb 3.55 rebug. If i do the swap hard drives glitch, will my 3.55 be prompted to update to 4.11 or no.

No! The ps3 firmware is stored on a NAND, not a HDD.

No. HDD just stores saved memory. The FW is saved on the NAND.
