(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i had my ps3 on 3.55 rogero, and have an e3 flasher installed and working....but i am lacking soldering skills and someone else set it up for me......now the problem is they set it up with the ps3s internal drive but i accidentally put in a hdd from another ps3 on it when i hooked it up as i did not label them and just stuck in the first one outta the box...now the ps3 that that hdd came from was set to 4.10ofw (i was looking to utilize the dual boot at some point)
so after i did indeed put in the wrong hdd i switched to the 160 and on ps3 mode it powers up light turns green for 2 seconds then shuts off completely then if i press power it turns red again
now ive tried flashing the tf card and keep getting 01000000 cant open bkkps3.bin, any and all help much appreciated

I dont have E3 flasher but from what i understood its solderless ? Id be trying to reflash the Nor, dont you have a backup of the bios dumped ? Id be very careful when using equipment such as E3 flasher, bricks are quite common and some are irreversible so correct use should be practised at all times. Google is your friend, try narrowing down the problem into key words and then search for the information to fix it. Im sure your not alone.

actually problem was that it thought that ps3 was a new system when i inserted the wrong hdd so the multi ps3 update on the e3 site was able to allow me to use the correct hdd

E3 Flashers are known to be at fault, they are fairly new and i dont think they support all model numbers but try recovery mode or something
