I would want to install cfw and run own patches in mw2. But i dont know what is a e3 flasher and that stuff, i usually hear that when i search info about ps3 cfw and jailbreaking, so is this a possible way to downgrade ps3 =

1. I find a 3.55 official.

2. Put it in USB stick.

3. Update PS3 from 4.11 to this official 3.55.

So im just thinking, does this brick my ps3 or something similar, i have a 250gb slim

Okay look, you need a 3.55 or lower PS3 OFW. Anything above cannot be hacked. You can't update from 4.11 to 3.55. By "put it in" I presume you mean update PS3 via storage media. No, CFW does not brick your PS3 unless you are careless. Check back in when you have a 3.55 or lower PS3.
