Afew months ago i switched firmwares, i went from 3.55 OFW to rebug but had afew problems backing a game up so i left it. Today i tried running a disc MW2 which should run just fine. It says im on 3.55 and that i need to update to play it - wtf, its never done this before but i read somewhere that SONY patched their 3.55 pups, have i picked up a bad pup download ? Peek & poke still works but i cant run discs without prompts to update.

do you mean you ran the disk on 3.55 or 4.11?

I ran the disc on 3.55, its never asked me to update before but now it does. Long story short apparently im not alone, its normal.

are you useing the 1.13 patch if so thats your problem
