1. i have a 2,5 inch SATA hard drive, what i put in my PS3 slim, and take the current out.

2. i get 3.55 ofw and put it in the new hard drive before putting it in the ps3.

3. then i get a usb stick and put CFW on it and jailbreak?

And the current hard drive is on 4.11, and another question is that if i take out my current and put it in a reader, can i change patches and that stuff through that way?

No, the FW isnt on the HDD its on the PS3 its self

There isn't a way to downgrade your ps3 nope :p

you're going to have to buy an e3 flasher, which is probably the only way right now to downgrade your ps3

how much does a 3.55 ps3 cost?
