Is CFW at the point where I can access the PSN still? If I bought a 2nd PS3 one with OFW and one with CFW would there be a way of porting trophies achieved from the CFW to the OFW one for sync? *unsure*

PSN access is available on 3.55 CFW currently as of right now. Sony is rumoured to be releasing firmware 4.20 in the coming days, so, most likely at that time psn access will be gone.

Having 2 ps3's, one with 4.11 ofw / or whatever is current, and, 3.55 cfw is what I and most everyone else do. I bought an e3 flasher that I use to downgrade my cfw ps3 after I upgrade it to sync trophies and expirement with it. It is very easy to sync trophies earned on cfw. Just upgrade to current ofw, and you're golden. I would make sure you have a hardware flasher so that you can downgrade again.

Use a spoofer and data transfer; depending on what CFW your using. I plan on using xploder and resign myself. Just my $.02

e3 flasher is the only way 2 go if you want the trophies, i wouldnt do the e3 thing myself id be afraid of breaking my ps lol

Data transfer doesn't transfer trophies and select other stuff. So, you would have to upgrade to 4.11 and sync to get your trophies to goto psn that are earned on cfw.....Everyone has tried data transferring trophies, and, everyone has failed.

It really is easy to hook it up to a slim. Once you get the downgrade down pat, you can have a 4.11 downgraded to 3.55 in less than an hour if you're sitting there with it..
