You need two PlayStations, one on the official firmware and one on a custom firmware. you install a patch on your jail broken ps3 and transfer it to your official firmware ps3.

Sorry but your out of luck, only way to host is have a jailbroken ps3.

you must be a noob to wanna mess up mw2 more , play legit man , btw cl is done , just get infects if you wanna host look at my thread , also theres a mw2 section for that but then again your questions is this section as well

If your friend has a challenge lobby on his ps3 it doesnt matter if he is on 4.11, you can data transfer from his ps3 to yours.

You need a PS3 w. CFW and the patch, than you must use the Data Transfer Utility to copy the patch on your 4.11 Ps3 tadaa you host cl lobbies with original firmware^^
