It is non patchable because its a hardware flasher. But only the old models of the ps3 worked and the new one´s like CHECH3004 have an other Nor Chip.

i know which ps3s are compatible and whats not just needed to know if sony released somthing to stop service mode, it says you need to get into service mode to use the e3 flasher to downgrade

What about progskeet? Is that still working? Think it's the same as e3.
