I don't even know what does it do, but from what I've been reading you update to 4.20 OFW, then download kiosk, use it like you would update a PS3 using update from sony website ( with a usb disk ) and you need to go into Recovery Mode or something, hope this helps.

Also if anyone can actually explain what does it do, would be nice.

It may allow you to install homebrew in the future.

That's all I know it does.
