I've been having similar problems but without RSOD Just reinstall 3.55 Kmeaw.
and you should be good I'm restoring my PS3 atm as i can't even sign in i keep getting an error.

i have a problem too. i get a error code : (80710104). i had the RSOD at the ps3 like 1hh ago, so i had to install the 3.55 OFW then install 3.55 CFW. then i install PS3ita_PSon_v2 ( but now i have no acc on the ps3..) and when i try go to the PSN to connect a acc i get this error -.-' it worked on the ps3 before the RSOD. so if anyone know how to fix the problem. please help me ( sorry for bad english )
