(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, so a few weeks back, I wanted to play GTA IV. I set it up as normal, then when it gets onto the loading animations screen, it just loops and the sound stops. I decided to try to find a fix for it today, I found one which said delete the update, so I deleted the update, and tried loading up. It seemed as though it was going well, as it loaded up the animations and began the "Installing to Hard Drive" bar. About 2 hours later, I noticed it hadn't loaded any further, so I quit the game and the 2 beeps happened on the PS3 (second video). It then crashes the PS3 and then turns back on.

Basically, I'm asking, what the hell is causing this problem & can it be fixed?

I'm running 4.20 ofw if that helps. I jailbroke the PS3 way back on 3.55, but never even went on GTA IV, or touched anything to do with it. It loaded up perfectly normal about a month or so ago, and it hasn't loaded up right since then. I'm pretty sure it isn't the disc being scratched, as it would be all jumpy, which it isn't - it runs fluidly.

I wouldn't think it's the console, as other games (Black Ops, Fallout, fifa, etc) all work without a hitch on it. But it's worth a try. I'll try it on my mates PS3 asap :y:
