But when try to change a JAP save to US, my data gets corrupted. Does anyone know if it is possible to region change Japanese saves to US using Xploder? All the tutorials I've looked at uses either EU or US saves and I looked through the forums but can't find any mention of converting jap saves to US. Thanks in advance.

Did you try loading it to see if it was corrupted ? Or did you get the message it was in Xploder and gave up without trying. Its quite common to get that message when your converting saves. If you did everything correctly without making any typos or mistakes it should be just fine, even if you get a corrupted message after resigning.
