Okay if you are going to flame at me, get your facts right.
1. I never said I wanted "moved". If you read my last post correctly (how funny, again), maybe you would understand that.
2. Saying "wrong section" and "this should be moved" are two different things. Your "magical" point would make sense if I said the post should be moved.

Please tell me what the point of saying "Wrong section" is.

From what I remember, you don't even need 3.55 ofw anywhere, there's 3.55 firmwares with the custom ones embedded in them already.

Hmmm. That's tough. If I was you, I would try re-downloading 3.55 with a different link and trying it?
Or you can try upgrading to a firmware lower then 3.55 and more then 3.15. Not sure if that would help, or you get you to where you want but it can't hurt.
You can also try restoring your PS3 to 3.15 and try again?

I already told you. If you still don't understand, people like Cien do. Read his post.
His point is valid. Why the fuck are you here if you aren't helping?

Hurah!
Hmm, that's shit :/
I have geohot's cfw, it's working like a charm, you have to make a folder setup like this:
1: make a folder named whatever you want.
2: Inside that folder make a folder called PS3 (with capital letters.)
3: inside the folder ps3 make a folder called UPDATE (also with capital letters.)
4: put the jailbreak.pup file inside the UPDATE folder.
5: and install the jailbreak Winky Winky

The question is already answered. I'm not going to cluster-fuck the thread with the same answer everyone else will give. And besides, The thread will get moved anyway. There is no point in saying "Wrong section". It is the most obnoxious thing you can post. BUT, You helped him nevertheless. Some people just say "Wrong section" and post boost. That's why it pisses me off.

Conversation ended.

go to 3.55ofw then your chosen 3.55 cfw install both threw recovery menu also check the pups you download threw a app called CFV 1.0 probs a newer version out now but it will scan the pup and tell if the firmware is a highly brickable firmware or unsafe, safe
