Everytime i try to install an update (OFW 3.55, GeoHot's 3.55, Kmeaw 3.55), this message appears: The data is corrupted. I have also tried on Recovery Mode. I have tried with a bunch of updates and none Iof them works!! Any ideas?

I am not I tried to install GeoHot's it didn't work so I tried to install Kmeaw and it didn't.

I think you are trying to downgrade your system. If your ps3 is anything above 3.56 firmware then you cant jailbreak your system.

So there isn't any possible way to jailbreak my PS3 if i am on 4.20?

To jailbreak your ps3, IT MUST BE ON 3.55 FW. :carling:

So i will need to buy E3 Flasher? Or can I just use a friend's PS3 and then data transfer or something?

you could use both of those methods.

You need an E3 Flasher or a ProgSkeet. That is the ONLY current way you can do it.
