I was wondering if anyone could explain this hole ps3 jailbreak thing to me, or maybe link me to something that might help? I'd like to be able to host challenge lobbies and play modded zombies. To use a patch, you have to jailbreak your ps3, people have told me that you need 2 ps3's to jailbreak. If so do you have to have the 2 ps3s whenever you want to host CL's? I have 1 ps3 but I have 2 cousins willing to bring their ps3's over to help a friend out.

you download JB via USB and then you can download all homebrew stuff which has file managers to transfer patches and host mw2 lobbies
and for 2ps3s you can data transfer
you can only jailbreak with a 3.55 and some other firmwares
and CFW means custom firmware

So is there a way to downgrade to 3.55 ? Also I've heard 4.11 is jailbreakable.

yeah you need e3 flasher
