(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hi i lost hope in the E3 flasher but i think someone can help me in this forum. i did a back up and got a bios that look good. Then i put all the switch down to restore my back up like the tutorial and every thing worked so i shut down my ps3 then i got no hdd signal no audio or screen display. look like bsod (black sreen of death) than i tryed to solder to the tristate and flash my ps3 and put back my back up. the E3 flasher seem to work and the 8 led lit to say that it was over. i touch the heat sink is that the problem or is it because my back up was bad. Well if it s my back up i know that any back up can be fixed. so if someone know how to fix that problem or fix a back up plz tell me. i find the E3 flasher stupid if it does 3 time the same mistake in the back up.

if someone successfully downgraded tell me and talk from your own experience!

well i thought that it backed up 3 time and and they all had the right size and it's kind of stupid that it did the same mistake 3 times and i couldn't make the stupid dump checker work well if one of you made a working backup of a ps3CECH 2001b plz quote me and leave a link ill contribute to this forum this forum is my last chance

The E3 flasher makes 3 identical dumps so if one of them is bad then all of them will be bad. You have to check a whole lot more than just the size to verify if the dump is good. You should ALWAYS do a few separate backups and verify through the ps3devwiki.com before going any further.

As for using a dump from another console.....it will not work....no way....no how. The BIOS contains console specific details such as the per console keys and IDPS and one console's dump cannot be used on any other system but the one that the dump came from.

It is safe to say that unfortunately you are out of luck and there is no recovering your PS3 now....sorry.
