(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys i always try to put text under my psn name but when i go to filezilla and i look for friendim i cant find it. so it unables me to do it. any help would be extremely appreciated.

I have copied this from a previous thread and to help with the I also tried to look for a video to post as well but there was not one available.

If I get change I will edit this post.

Just remember to choose the correct user account depending on how many accounts the ps3 has had it might be hard to find.


How to Put Text Under PSN

1. Go to your PROFILE and Put a random comment

2. After you have put a comment, sign out of psn and go on Ftp Server and fillezilla

3. Navigate to "dev_hdd0/home/(Your account)/friendim
NOTE: For an easier way to find your account just click on "Last Modified"

4. When your at "Friendim" COPY mecomment.dat to you desktop

5. Edit it WITH Notepad++ (In the Tools Folder)

6. You should see your random Comment that you put

7. Then add 14 lines (Go next to your comment and press ENTER 13 times)
NOTE: You can do less than 14 if you want the comment to be on the middle of your psn

8. Now you can add what you want to be under your psn
NOTE: There's a 64 character limit

9. After you added what you want go ahead and press CTRL+S or just save.

10. Now go back to filezille and drag the "mecomment.dat" from you desktop to the old directory of mecomment.dat.

11. Quit filezilla and ftp server then sign in and look at your profile (If it did not work, You added too many characters)

if you cant find ''friendim'' just create it and when your going to make your comment on notepad or what ever make sure its less than 63kb and save it as mecomment.dat

open it on notepad and edit it and save then in filezila:
dev_hdd0 > home > your account > friendim > drag your edited mecomment
