Wen yu say new it may be a new way to fight downgrading by loss of system by over heat?

mine did that too but i found out it is on the motherboard.... You have to solder these two points and it should work, but i didn't feel like soldering lol... I do believe the points are called the nor tristate and SBE point. What I did I bought a new ps3 downgraded it... then took out the e3 flasher.

I've asked so many times to find out and nobody seemed to know, Will give this a try and see if it works
