What are all of your opinions on the future of CFW PS3's? For example, whether you feel their value may rise or drop or if they will die down and people will lose interest in them because of the decreasing modded online gaming?

Game modding at the current OFW is still possible through decrypting the PS3's hard drive, going into the game's install data and modifying it from there. I'm also fairly sure that the leading devs of this hacking scene have their own CFW or jailbreak for the current OFW, but they don't release it because they are too afraid of Sony taking them to court (a repeat of the Sony vs George Hotz aka Geohot case). Also I think the CFW developers, being developers, probably have a soft spot for piracy and don't want new games being pirated. These two reasons have lead to the PS3 hacking scene becoming, well, (I hate to say this but) almost dead. And I think it will stay this way in the future.

Does it work or did you post that as a question because I'm willing to try anything let's just hope for no console banning. I will try it but to download will take a while because later today I need to go register to back to school yea school sucks but hey they are b##c*es there okay went out of topic there but I will try and post again. Or before anything happens I'll be up by 8am if anybody knows anything please contact me to warn me of possible banning but screw psn but I do like ps3.

Not really,eBay google any place u can buy a ps3,every site will say what Cech- whatever number it is then go to ps3 Cech wiki and find a 2010 or below. Cech and go back to eBay or whatever site and find a ps3 with the one from 2010 or below but it only works if it brand new if used I'm sure it's updated but that what I did,do t search ps3 jailbreak or ps3 3.55 or 3.41 u want find shit 4 it but yea hope it help cause it did 4 me

Yeah some pretty good opinions guys. From what i Have heard then it doesn't look a bright future for CFW on the PS3 etc.

It hard to find working ones for a reasonable price, in your area, they atleast cost £100 even if it has YLOD or any other problem

Yea but I just said u gotta buy it NEW so u kno it will be on the right firmware and soo on how much it cost buy it new mean it will last longer as long as u don't do stupid sht to mess it up
