If you have a method for soldering that's fine but I need thorough instructions/links/videos.
I'm looking at getting a progskeet blue crystal. I have 4.20 firmware on a very old and fat cech 2001a ps3. looking to downgrade to 3.55 for jailbreak.
I understand there is some flag at some point during the flash process to allow for pkg installation?
Anyway what are some good methods as of right now for 4.20 to 3.55 downgrades?
I need to know what all is involved.

The best way would be to downgrade with the E3 Flasher unless you are good at soldering.
