Fan made would take longer to make assuming you wont be using any of the original Minecraft models or designs due to copyright, It would be much easier for Mojang or yourself to port it over to PS3. Shouldn't be too hard assuming you know how program games.

Not sure if it would require jailbroken ps3 or not though for installing it on your PS3.

you still could do it, even if you are in Highschool. But it would involve taking about a year of your time learning game development, and by the time you have learnt it you would have no intentions to port it over to the PS3 Happy

Because like me, before I spent the past two years teaching myself game programming and development I had intentions of making a futuristic robot platformer that I was planning to call 'Robo-Trials'. I had alot of the game mapped out etc. But after my two years of experience you just kind of loose all intentions of doing the thing you where original set out to do and you begin to do so many better things with your skills.

I don't know about you, but that was one of the biggest things I got surprised by over the past two years.

Yeah, your right I don't think it would be worth the time after all, since only jailbroken users would able to use.
And I would lose interest as I don't really play it anymore, and with that knowledge I can make something original.
Thanks alot you've helped me understand.
